Last week we took time to see where sunflower seeds come from. We invited the preschool into our classroon to harvest seeds. We are talking about life cycles of plants and animals in science. We are also learning the different parts of a plant cell. Get ready for a science test in the near future. The kids will be getting study guides one day this week.

What's That Habitat?
- Students will identify and compare characteristics of living and nonliving things.
- Students will infer the importance of animal homes.
- Students will identify their own basic needs for food, water, shelter, and space.
- Students will generalize that wildlife and other animals have similar basic needs.
The kids had fun creating habitats for different animals. They presented their habitats to the class and are now displaying them in the hall.
