- Students will identify and compare characteristics of living and nonliving things.
- Students will infer the importance of animal homes.
- Students will identify their own basic needs for food, water, shelter, and space.
- Students will generalize that wildlife and other animals have similar basic needs.
The kids had fun creating habitats for different animals. They presented their habitats to the class and are now displaying them in the hall.
